BECOMING A MILLIONAIRE BEFORE AGE 25 – AJAYI JOEL ( johelski ) – Medium

(a compilation of my whatsap status which I wrote last night)

Tonight’s post is going to be really insightful and you might have to jot. It’s on How To Become a Millionaire Before 25.

Well, it’s necessarily not 25 but at any age.. Or lemme just say, it’s on how to become successful.. Very successful. I am still considering if I would post on facebook cos it would help lots of people.

Well, Joel, are you a millionaire before you’re talking about teaching this?

Me: I’m not but I can teach what it takes to become one even if I’m not one..

And when I say teach, I mean from experience not books so take away your prejudice. The contents I’d share would just be 30 percent lesser than what those big guys charge 50k for in quality.

Firstly, I’d let you know that anybody can become very successful… I mean anybody can be very successful. Either a dropout, a university first class, last class or even you didn’t go to a university.

So when I talk about becoming a millionaire, or even a billionaire in naira (my 28 years ambition). Then anybody falls into this category so do not look down upon yourself.

To be very rich, it’s either you do blood money or you understand financial management very well. Well, I do not understand financial management, I’m trying to learn that but it’s a good way to becoming rich very early..

More like understanding money, investment and all.. I really cannot teach being wealthy based on this. Financial education is supposed to be taught in the University.. But 🤦🏽‍♂🤦🏽‍♂

However, I’d teach on another method. That’s through your skill, through your knowledge (either academics or any knowledge). I’m aware a lot of people are acquiring skills or lots of skills just to save themselves from the suffering.

Well, if saving yourself from suffering is your goal, then forget it, this post isn’t for you. However, if your goal is to hit millions as soon as possible, then it’s for you..

It’s not a 100 percent guarantee and there’s no time frame… Depends on lots of factors. Location, human factor, cash, mentality and so many more..

So how can you hit millions as soon as possible in your business or skill? Now let me establish this clearly. Becoming a millionaire most times out of many is not by luck… Stop day dreaming that one day you would be lucky.

Check out millionaires and billionaires, a lot of them didn’t acquire it through luck.. So get ready to put in the work. What I would be sharing are the steps to take and the knowledge that you didn’t know which is very useful.

Firstly, before I always give advice to people on skills, business and all. I always ask how grounded you are in that skill or in the knowledge for the business.

One of my guys reached me yesterday that he wanted to learn many skills so he’d use two weeks to learn one. Cos he’s my guy, I had to send him over 8 minutes voice note telling him that’s a dumb move.

Nobody becomes a millionaire by having half baked knowledge. Though half baked knowledge is what lots of youths carry up and down in the name of skill… It can only feed you. I don’t think thousands though, I think billions, I am on the mission to befriend billionaires.. It’s possible…

Let me not jump the clock… So before you start this journey. How well are you good at that skill or that business or even in that course (I don’t mean grade good). If you are not very good, stop right here.. You can make a screen shot but the remaining contents are not for you…

Mind you, get this straight.. That you are very good with a skill doesn’t still mean you’d be rich. That’s why Udemy or even Coursera or Edx cannot still solve unemployment in Africa.

That’s the issue I have with all these coaches or whatsap masterclass holders. They’d collect 5k from you only to tell you that Nigeria is hard and that you should learn skills.

See, I can hold masterclasses up and down and be making money but I really don’t like less quality stuff. To become wealthy takes more than your skill so don’t brag even if you’re a pro.

N/B: I have to pause here not to make it too long… I will make another post on the continuation.. It was indeed a very long discussion on my whatsap thread…
