Timur Yusufov Discusses the Best Apps for Real Estate Developers

4 Apps any Real Estate Developer Should be Using

Almost every industry has been disrupted by the development of apps, and the real estate business is no exception. There are now dozens of apps on the market that aim to serve not only agents, but brokers, buyers, sellers, home owners and even investors. We teamed up with real estate entrepreneur, Timur Yusufov, to bring you the top real estate apps to add to your digital toolbox right away!

1. Zillow

One of the most well-known and best overall rated applications in real estate is Zillow. Zillow is an online real estate database that was founded in 2006 and was created by Rich Barton and Lloyd Frink (former Microsoft executives). Zillow currently has data on over 110 million homes across the United States, and not just those homes that are currently for sale. In addition to giving value estimates of homes, it offers several features including value changes of a home in a given time frame, aerial views of a home, and prices of comparable homes in the area. Timur Yusufov explains that with a number of robust search filters and extra features, this site offers an amazing overview of the real estate market and available properties. Best of all? It is free for both iPhone and Android users.

2. Property Development Feasibility

If you’re a property developer looking to manage your budget and time, then the Property Development Feasibility application is for you! This app was designed by Commercial and Residential Construction Pty Ltd, and lets you calculate the feasibility of a property development by entering a few figures into the app on mobile device. Timur Yusufov explains that this app includes a calculator that adds up your project costs, which will help you estimate the revenues and costs for your next project development. It is free in the app store but is only available for iPhone users. Android users should try a similar application called Qwikfeaso.

3. Magic Plan

Magic Plan is an app that enables users to digitally develop customized floor plans without a measuring tape, and it is free for both iPhone and Android users. Users can take self-captured images where the app will measure the room for you and draw your floor plan. The app also has manual setting where the user can alternatively draw their own floor plan and place objects where desired. Magic plan offers a PDF or JPG saving setting– easily translating between the client closer and the developer.

4. Houzz Home Design & Remodel

Whether you are building, remodeling or designing, the Houzz Home Design & Remodel app is just the thing you are looking for. Whether you are just looking for ideas, wanting to buy products for a home, find home professionals like architects, contractors or designs, read articles from editorial staff and seasoned design experts, or get advice on your home project, this app is for you. Free for both iPhone and Android phones, this app is a must have a reference tool for all of your projects.

Timur Yusufov’s Final Thoughts
