Cos to launch Bauhaus inspired capsule collection in November

Between blankets, sneakers, and miniature models, the Bauhaus centennial this year has provided endless inspiration for design-minded brands everywhere. And what better way to keep the Bauhaus shopping train going than with a fashion moment?

Cos, the H&M-owned minimalist clothing brand that loves architects and architects love back, is releasing a capsule collection inspired by the German design school’s signature simplicity. The 13 pieces—six for women, six for men, plus one accessory—embrace the ultimate pared-back look of clean lines, subdued colors, and architectural details.

The designs were drawn from Cos’s 12 years of archives, which its designers say have always taken a cue from the Bauhaus’s craftsmanship and stylistic clarity. The pieces have been updated and modernized to include garments like a simple but voluminous wool circle skirt, crisp white button-up shirts, and streamlined yet sculptural gray wool coats.

The archival capsule collection debuts in stores and online in early November.
