Realtor Richard Companik has joined the New Canaan office of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices New England Properties.
“I am delighted to welcome Richard to our team,” said the Real Estate brokerage’s Managing Director, Jeanne Howell. “Although he’s a brand new agent, he is deeply rooted in our field having purchased, renovated, restored and sold more than a dozen homes throughout New York City, the Hudson Valley, Cape Cod and right here in New Canaan, where he currently resides.”
Prior to joining Berkshire Hathaway Companik was the CEO, CFO and COO of Great Bowery, an international high fashion and design, artist management agency, which he helped build. Richard is the treasurer and a trustee of the Fine Arts Work Center located in Provincetown, Mass., where he and his family own a second home.
He and his husband were attracted to the Town of New Canaan because of its quintessential downtown and the unsurpassed beauty of its homes. They reside in a restored 1930s Frazier Forman Peters home along with their two children and dog, Ruby. Companik has a long-standing passion for historic home restoration, interior design and landscaping.
Companik is also licensed in the states of Connecticut and Massachusetts and a Certified Public Accountant in Connecticut, and the state of New York.
